Gonna be a mean season. Connors will still be in youth, Daniel has brought a stockie and so as Mark. 48t ministock is forsale as Hopefully running a stockie next season
With the season over work has started on our two new cars for next season. 95 will move on after 3 seasons of lease. A new ministock is being built for Connor and a Production for Daniel. Daniels car will be a Subaru Legacy (for obvious reasons). 48t will be getting a little straighten out after oxford :( (not my best driving) Overall last season was Great, I got a few wins and a few podiums and Connor got 3rd in season points in his first season.
Oxford NZ champs, I would rather forget lol um Got spun in first race, Ended up in ditch in repecharge, Got a win in best of the rest and ended up 4th overall best of rest. Connor on the other hand drove very well for the first time on the track, and he bet me in repcharge :p lol Next season is going to be hectic with 3 cars and Mark now the head scrutineer at Cromwell. And hopefully ill have oxford sorted come next may. Race one
I started 5th while Connor started 8th. The track was pretty good but very wet near the pole line. I finished 1st while Connor finished 5th. In the second race I started on pole while Connor started 4th. I got 1st, While Connor did bloody well and got 3rd. In the last race i started 9th and Connor started 3rd. Connor managed to get to the front by the first corner but then got hit and spun in the first corner, he managed to fire it back up and got a few positions back. I finished 2nd. Over all 1st Liam 2nd Clayton 3rd Cody 4th Connor Unfortunatly The gopro decided to currupt the videos so the will be none from this meeting but still have to upload vi Last week we headed down to Invercargil for the southland youth ministock champs. It was a warm day and the track was better than last year, But still veryt rutty. Out of the 9 car field 8 were from Cromwell and 1 was from Dunedin. The first race started of with Sam Kelly rolling in turn 2 which ended his night. But the red flag proved contriverisal with 34t and 58t sent to the infield for moving on a red flag. This put me up to second. the leader ended up with a flat tire which put me up to 1st.
Race 2 the track started to flatgen off a bit. i started 8th and worked my way up to 2nd and was catching Clayton. At the finish line i was right beside him but finish 2nd. Race 3 i started 3rd and finished 1st. which put me in 1st overall for the night. Connor did well to for his first time on the rutty track Sorry I haven't Updated the Site in a while.
The Last Meeting we had was Xmas Champs and New Years GP. At the Xmas Champs My grids were 3,10,10 and results were 2,3,4. Overall results was Clayton 1st, Camden 2nd, Me 3rd. Connor also did well. New Years Grand Prix is different were the last race determined who wins the trophies. and your placing for the first 2 races determine your grids for the final race. my Grids were 3,10 and my placings were 2,3. so my grid in the last race was 2. and thanks to lap traffic i lost my lead and ended up in 2nd. Clayton 1st, Me 2nd, Syd 3rd. And on the 18th of December we went to the otago champs in dunidun were I won and Connor got 4th Liam. Ps: Added Photos and Videos While the weather wasn't to good in the morning, we loaded up the cars and headed off to Cromwell anyway.
For the first race I was in grid 3 and Connor was in 6. We got 48 set up perfectly and ended up with a win and Connor got 4th The second race i started 7th and managed a 2nd with a loose car. Connor started 3rd and finished 4th. In Our last race I started 2nd and held off 34t for a second win of the night. while connor started 3rd and managed to hit a spun car on the last lap but still managed to finish the race with a flat front left and mangled bars.
